She’s even wearing gloves! Kudos to whoever decided not to make this model half naked (…and don’t think just because it’s snowing in this ad they wouldn’t have had her nearly naked holding an apple). I think the dialogue between hip hop artists and some of their critics is working for now. Upcoming spring and summer ads?..well we’ll just have to wait and see. What’s your opinion on how women are portrayed in hip hop videos and songs?

Do you feel like rappers are getting a bad rap or is it time they take responsibility for the messages they send?

Way to go CG for exploiting this feud! I’m not a huge fan of either, but if I had to choose I’d say Lauren’s cover is much better…and trust me it has nothing to do with the fact that Heidi and her boyfriend Spencer make my insides ache…Heidi just doesn’t look well in this picture, her Jay Leno chin and pale face seems to take over the entire cover.
